Notebook Hardware Control is a freeware used for monitoring your systems hardware and system control. You can monitor your computer’s hardware components such as the processor, battery, memory, hard disk, and system uptime. The pre-release version is available here for free: http://www.pbus-167.com/

Click on the play button to start the notebook hardware monitoring. This will display the monitoring graph on you desktop.

You can manage your processor speed in the CPU Speed Control tab. You can also set the power scheme of your notebook in this tab.

The voltage tab allows you to control your processors voltage. Be careful in using CPU voltage control, as it might cause your system to be unstable or may cause damage to your processor. Only available in Professional edition.

The ACPI tab allows you to control your notebooks ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface) function. It also allows you to monitor your processors actual temperature.

The battery tab displays information about your battery and advanced settings for your battery.

The Graphic Card Control tab allows you to control ATI manufactured graphics card and the LCD brightness.

The hard disk tab lets you monitor and control your hard disks standby time, power and acoustic performance. You can also view your hard drives status and attributes by clicking Show HD Smart.

Overall I am very happy with this software.  With it I can control the hardware and system power management, prolong the battery lifetime, cool down the system and reduce power consumption and also monitor the hardware to avoid system failure.
