Recover your accidentally deleted files with Recuva

OK, the software might be good and useful but telling me that “recuva” is pronounced “recover” is funny, recuva might be a proper name forMiami for all the Cubans that live there. So what is Recuva? This is what the developers say on their website:

Recuva (pronounced “recover”) is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes and viruses!

I always looked for a free tool like this, I haven’t used it myself but working for a large corporation like I do there is always people deleting files accidentally and then calling IT to recover their files. I will follow up on this tool once I tested a couple of times in real situations at work.
