Secure Data Organizer is a free password management software used to organize and store your data. You can use the software to organize your log in credentials (usernames/passwords) and confidential data for security purposes.
If you don’t want to use a Windows desktop application, you can use a free online password manager like PassPack. If you want something that runs on your USB stick, you can check out KeePass, a great password manager.
Using Secure Data Organizer, you can create website associations to automatically enter your credentials whenever you browser detects the associated website. The software also has a drag and drop option for your usernames and passwords to eliminate manual encoding of your log in credentials.
To start, create a new user, click the create new user option and enter your desired display name and master password. After creating you credential the software the strength of the password you have created. You also have the option to create a hint for the master password you have created.
This can be helpful in cases where you have forgotten your master password. Click the create user button to continue creating your account, your username will be displayed in the main window of secure data organizer.
To start using the software, double click on the user you want to use. Click file on the menu bar and select the new option. Under new record, create the name and select the type of record you want to create. Click the save record button when your done.
You will prompted to enter your master password for the software to continue the encryption process and save the record you have entered.
To create website associations, click file and select edit website associations. In the associations window, double click the create new association text to add a new website association. In the Add new association window, select the association type you want to create.
Type the website name in website name text box or the website address in the website URL and select the action you want the software to perform when the browser detects the website you have defined. Click the save association button to save and associate the website you have specified.
