I have a 14 months son that just started to walk and sometimes he goes crazy playing with whatever attracts him, and one of those things that delights him is to play with the computer keyboard I have at home, he likes to see the windows popping up and the null sounds from hitting wrong keys, he also likes to play with the CD-ROM drive, and shutdown button for the flashing lights. So I got into the task to find or write a tool to disable the keyboard, CD-ROM and power button for when I’m playing music watching DVDs or TV on my computer, and I found a tool to do just that, is called Toddler Keys http://tk.ms11.net/ this small program disable power off button, lock drive doors, lock keyboard or if you need to you can disable the keyboard and mouse at once.

It has a file manager to put pictures and sounds, so when the keyboard is used it will entertain the baby but will prevent him from messing with the desktop applications, it won’t interrupt anything you are playing or watching on the computer.
