Which I did exactly according to the provided instructions, i.e., selected option "Override automatic cookie handling" in the advanced Privacy Settings window. Returned to my homepage and the message to enable cookies is still there. Checked if the override option is still checked there, and it disappeared. Checked the "enable" again, but Google's message is the same, and I cannot get my email. They say that it might have gotten "stuck"?
Is there anybody who can get me any advice? Or have I lost my emails from Google forever? Thanks.

I disabled cookies and got a message from Google that I have to turn on cookies in order to get my emails.
