I have VM Ware on a server that will not start. I have another server availble. How do I get the available server to take place of the server that will not start?

Hi, I'm trying to get VMWare Server installed on my XP Home machine. It installs but when I try to login with my local machine username and password it gives an authentication error, I cannot login.
