In part one we started by checking and troubleshooting some basic stuff in the TCP/IP settings, but sometimes the problem lies somewhere else. On windows the “Client for Microsoft Windows” needs to be installed in order for the Internet to work, to check if it’s installed on your computer go to “My Network Places” on your desktop or menu bar and Right click it and go to Properties right click “Local Area Connection“ icon and go to Properties,

“client for Microsoft windows” should be the first item listed on the local area connection property window, if it’s not there you need to install it, by click on “Install” Select “client” and Client for Microsoft Windows should be on the option there to install it, after you install it you will need to restart your computer.
