Do you know that you can earn money by putting ads OUTSIDE your site? This is the philosophy behind Linkbucks to earn money once users click a link from your web page. The idea is to post a really cool link to a content, and once users start to click them, you will get paid depending on the amount of clicks you got. This is how illegal mp3 and pirated websites earn money.
By letting their download links be transitioned to Linkbucks before reaching the actual content, the thousands of downloaders are actually generating the money for the provider. Of course there are legal ways to earn money like putting links to legal contents.

You can see that the URL itself does not have the “online-tech-tips.com” on it. The serial id (eb8ede88) identifies the URL on the Linkbucks database. This is called URL masking so that users won’t know beforehand what URL they will be taken to. This way they will be forced to see the Linkbucks ad first before seeing the actual content. Now that you get the idea, below are the steps on how to generate your own links.
To start earning money using Linkbucks, go toLinkBucks and then create your own login account. After logging in, click the create link tab to access the link generation form:
Enter the URL of the content that you want to link:
Then choose the landing page content, ad type and alias URL. There is a “why?” link on each item to guide the users what they are for. The landing page lets you choose either clean or adult content, this way you will avoid putting adult ads on a family friendly website. The ad type could be intermission, top banner, or pop-up. The intermission is the most irritating for the users but it is paid higher that the other types.
The alias URL is a little different, it lets you choose from several domains owned by Linkbucks so you can have variation on your links:
Click the create link button to generate the link. You will see the link along with it’s assigned ad type, landing page and the payout:
The top-tier payout is the most important since it tells you how much unique visitor clicks you need to be able to earn a dollar. In the example above, I need 2000 clicks to earn $1. This means I need 200,000 clicks to be able to earn a thousand dollars. Hmmm… that’s a lot of clicks, but if you have a site where people are downloading software, etc, this might be worth it for you.
