Opera is a web browser that competes with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and other browsers. The Opera Web browser is known for faster web browsing, security, an integrated download manager and a Bit torrent client. In also includes a speed dial feature which allows you to add your favorite websites for easy access.

The opera browser also uses tabbed browsing which allows you to browse multiple web pages in a single window.

The speed dial feature of opera allows you to add up to nine links which will be displayed in the browser every time you launch you opera browser. Images of the website will be displayed on the browser and a single click on the image will launch the website.

To add links to the speed dial, right click on the numbered boxes and select edit.

You will be asked to enter the web address on the space provided.

After you have entered the web address click ok and a thumbnail view will be loaded on the box where you have selected.

Repeat the steps to add more links to your speed dial.

You can also download torrent files using the built-in bitorrent client. To download a torrent file use opera to browse for torrent files in the internet. After searching for torrent files click on the download link.

You will be asked to enter the location of your download folder. Provide the path of the folder and click yes.

The bitorrent download will begin in a new tab named transfers. You can see the status and progress of your bitorrent download in this tab.

Opera also have an integrated mail client which you can configure and use to read and send your emails.

Opera indeed offers a lot of additions to be able to get its share of the market.  No wonder it is still one of the most popular browsers today.
