Google must be Cooking Today

a strange phenomenon happened with my site on Google SERP this morning, I checked my site stats as always and I noticed there were some hits coming from google with the keyword “Helpdesk” which is one of the words I have optimized to rank on Google, but taking into account the age of my site of about one month and a half is almost impossible to rank high with competitive keywords like “helpdesk” on Google. so i jumped to Google to verify where was my position on the SERP and there I was on page one ranking 5 of the 10 first sites, that was a good jolt, after all the work I have put on this blog have paid off I sighed. now coming to google to check again to make sure I was not dreaming my site is gone! there is buried on page 17 on the SERP. certainly Google is cooking something today, probably updating their PageRank or getting some sites out of the sandbox, who knows, but certainly was good to be on Google on page one ranking high with a generic word, even though it was only for a couple of hours.
