I actually find that it is usually do to Roxio or other “crapware” or viruses that are on the machine before the upgrade takes place. If you are having issues make sure to run a few antivirus programs first (MS Security Essentials and Bitdefender), then I use PC decrapifier (www.pcdecrapifier.com). I’ve never found that an upgrade fails AFTER I running those two things.

Well, I can’t even go into F8. It tells me to put in the original Vista disc which I dont have (the Vista I hve is a copy because I lost my original). It just moves around in the cd drive and then goes back to the rebooting thing again. Had to send it off for repair.

I would like to mention the pc repairman told me I should have done a full install rather than an upgrade.
