I’m having a problem. I try to install W7 Ultimate 32 bit. Now I’m running an XP SP3 32 bit. If I try to install the W7 from the XP (inserting the disc and run it), somewhere, in the secound installtion part say that needs to reboot. After rebooting, it get stuck at Startting Windows and there dies, you can leave it for 3 days and you’d be still at Starting Windows.

If I try to install it directly from the cd like you’d do with a XP…. same problem, stuck at Starting Windows before asking me language or other thing. I have an Intel dual core 2.0 GHz CPU, 4 GB RAM, motherboard Asus P5B, graphic card Asus GTX 250 1.0 GHz. I’ve disconeted all the USB’s and all.

The only thing remaining is update the Bios, but I’m do it only if really necessary. I installed the same version of W7 on other computers, many of them much older then my peace of sh*t.

I can't get my system to stop it. It just keeps doing it. I made a system image and it works. Then, at startup, it has me going in circles (no pun).

I have tried disconnecting all USB drives and disabling automatic restart on system failure. But still windows 7 is in reboot loop.

I am still stuck with this problem. Suggest measures.

I don't know what I did, but this is what's going on.

1. There was a virus. I tried to get rid of it, but I needed a password to activate the antivirus which I did not have, so I ignored it.

2. Everything messed up, so I went to safe mode and ran recovery.

3. After that, it tries to load and is now constantly restarting.

4. I tried everything, but nothing works.

5. I really don't want to fork out 100s of bucks.
