I do have a few suggestions though, they are; Show us how to install a program and use it from Windows 7, and remind people now to change the password and username form windows XP, I ended up having to reinstall because I did.

Thank you! XP can be run in Virtual PC regardless of being able to use XP Mode. True XP Mode is not what your last screenshot shows. XP Mode actually lets you run the installed programs in XP without having virtual PC actually on. It runs the windows in 7 without needing to be in the XP desktop in Virtual PC.

While it is an ok article, it is not showing what XP Mode is. ---
The lack of the VT extension in many Intel high performance CPUs holds back migration to windows 7 for many individuals and businesses plus also forces them to have run in dual boot mode configurations.
---
It would appear MS would have thought of this before releasing the RTM since world wide economic issues prohibit mass hardware upgrades in numerous cases.

The article is timely, well written and begins with a hardware vitalization test.

—

The lack of the VT extension in many Intel high performance CPUs holds back migration to windows 7 for many individuals and businesses plus also forces them to have run in dual boot mode configurations.

—

It would appear MS would have thought of this before releasing the RTM since world wide economic issues prohibit mass hardware upgrades in numerous cases.
