Well, here I am using windows XP again, somehow after updating my windows vista yesterday (Tuesday 11.13.2007) and after rebooting the computer; I got a message saying my windows vista copy was not genuine, and gave me this four options to activate it:
Activate Windows Online now
Access your computer with reduced functionality
Retype your product key
Show me other ways to activate

When I entered the product key I used when installing vista, I got the following error message 0xc004e003. It might be by the fact that I used a Dell Vista CD that came with some computers we ordered recently, and not specifically for my laptop.
By rebooting the computer on safe mode and restore it back before the updates, I was able to get vista back, but I was foolish enough to not disable windows updates, even though I had it set it up to not update windows automatically. It looks like Microsoft force the update anyways.
Well, XP is awesome, and taking into account my laptop does not support Aero, there is a little reason to be disappointed.
