Comments on: Configure Outlook 2007 to Work Over HTTP using RPC Protocol

I have configured my outlook as above, but, I get error that I am unable to connect to exchange server. I also cannot ping the server (I cannot ping from other PCs that can connect so I guess icmp is off on the server).

All firewalls are off and other PCs in the office can connect alright. This is a new pc setup. Is this a common/easy fix for you?

Ali, try maybe a free add-on, Outlook AutoConfig, that configures your account automatically.

I finish configuring my Outlook. when I try to open outlook I enter my user name and password but the authentication failed , it keep asking me for user name and password.
