    Enable or Disable Windows Spotlight Using the Settings App

    You can turn on/off Windows Spotlight in the Settings app.

    1. Right-click the Start menu icon and click Settings, or just press Windows + I, to open the Settings app.

    1. Next, select Personalization from the left-hand pane and then click Lock screen.

    1. You’ll see the Personalize your lock screen option on the next screen. Click the drop-down menu to show a list of options. To enable Windows Spotlight, select Windows spotlight. To disable it, select either Picture or Slideshow.
