Help Desk Geek accepts a limited number of paid placements: sponsored posts, guest posts, sponsored sections, link insertions, product reviews, and display campaigns. Every placement goes through the same editorial process as our regular content, and we retain final editorial control over everything we publish.
Help Desk Geek is a Tier 1 site in the AKIC network, with approximately 360,000 monthly pageviews.

Sponsored Posts
You provide the finished article; we review, edit, and publish it with disclosure. Pricing is by article length:

Sponsored Section
A Sponsored Section is a short paragraph of about 100–200 words that we write and add to an existing article — typically a listicle, as a new list entry or a short subsection — with one contextual link. It is covered by that article's sponsored-links disclosure line. It fills the gap between a Link Insertion (a link only, with at most one sentence of neutral context) and a full Sponsored or Guest Post. If you want us to test the product and share our experience, that is a Product Review, priced separately.
Example — In our 12 Best Team Task Management Apps, a Sponsored Section would be a new ~150-word entry for your app, written by our editors, covering what it does and who it's for, with one link to your site.

Other Placements
A Link Insertion is a link only. We add your URL to an existing article, with at most one sentence of neutral context. We do not write a section, add commentary, or test your product as part of a Link Insertion — those are a Sponsored Section or a Product Review.

Add-Ons
- Dofollow link — +50% of the base price.
- Rush publication (under 48 hours) — +$100.
- Multi-site bundle — 15% off when the same content runs on two or more of our sites.
- Homepage feature — we promote your sponsored post or guest post on our homepage for 14 days or 1 month. Sponsored post: $140 for 14 days or $240 for 1 month. Guest post: $225 for 14 days or $375 for 1 month.
The homepage feature is available only as an add-on to a sponsored post or guest post you buy from us; it is not sold on its own. It is a one-time add-on and does not change the post's standard 12-month placement term. The post keeps its Sponsored label on the homepage. We feature one post at a time, so we confirm your start date when you book.
Placement Duration
Listed prices are for a 12-month placement, our standard term. A shorter term and a permanent upgrade are also available:
- 12 months — full listed base price (standard).
- Permanent — +50% of the 12-month base price; the content stays live indefinitely.
- 6 months — 65% of the 12-month base price.
The permanent upgrade is separate from the dofollow add-on: each is +50% of the 12-month base price, and they can be combined.
How It Works
- Payment — 100% upfront via invoice.
- Turnaround — 3 business days from receipt of final content and payment.
- Editorial control — We retain final editorial control and may edit submissions for clarity, accuracy, and style.
- Refunds — None once the placement is published.
What We Don’t Accept
We do not accept placements in the following categories, at any price:
- Gambling, casino, or sports betting
- Adult or NSFW content
- Crypto, ICOs, or memecoins
- CBD or cannabis
- Essay mills
Disclosure
Paid placements are disclosed to readers. Our editorial how-to content is not sold as advertorial without disclosure, and sponsors never influence our independent editorial coverage.
