Craig is a long-time writer, coder, and marketer with years of experience in the technology and gaming spaces. Since 2008, he's worked remotely with some of the most notable publications in these industries, specializing in Windows, PC hardware and software, automation, and the like.

Craig Snyder has been writing online and working remotely since 2008. Along with all forms of writing, he's had success in affiliate marketing, web development, and domain flipping.

As a writer, Craig began working with MakeUseOf in 2011 after responding to a job listing that he found on Reddit. He remained there as a staff author for nearly four years, contributing over 300 articles on everything web related, before transitioning into writing and journalism in the gaming space.

Craig has had hundreds of news, opinion, guide, and interview pieces published on popular gaming websites such as GameSkinny, OnlySP, Twinfinite, and Exclusively Games. His love for video games started with his parents spoiling him with every NES cartridge he could ever want as a child and hit its peak upon discovering Final Fantasy VII.

Although gaming is his earliest passion, his love for technology and the internet has led him back to publications such as Online Tech Tips and Help Desk Geek. He has a keen interest in the pre-Vista era of Windows and loves coding automation software.

When he's not writing how-to guides or playing games, he's probably browsing Twitter, watching basketball, or in a not-so-deep sleep.
